No problems at all except the fog took a long time to burn off.
At least you had a chance to enjoy the day. Too bad about the gear. |

Didn't feel like working on Blade SR today. Instead I ran a couple battery packs through my mCPx out in the front yard today. I even did a couple back flips. Got some weird vibration towards the end of the flight on the stock battery pack. I got some Thunder Power packs on order, which should hold up better to more aggressive flying
![]() I enjoy working on and modifying my helis, but sometimes you just have to get out there and fly

A few of the guys have their models, myself included. I think they were all purchased second hand though. Their models are good. I don't think you have anything to worry about dealing with them.

If you turn idle up knob all the way to the right and flip idle up switch while in flight tail wag will disappear if esc and gyro are adjusted perfectly. It took a long time to get mine set up properly. Of course, that was per-crash. It is not working right now. Still troubleshooting

I guess your not suppose to hit idleup switch while on the ground. Ed do you think I should lower the swashplate some to increase some rpms and to put the throttle mid stick more? Barry and I agree it does need some tuning with a true computer radio but I am still learning the physics of this heli.

They aren't too pricey. I picked mine up at the hobby shop for about 12 bucks I think. I gonna set my SR up with dx6i. Stock radio isn't that great. Good luck

Was playing around with the Turnigy 9xr and it bound up to the nano co just fine. The part I do not like, the radio is a programmer type of setup usi ng a software based setup where you use a template . It is the MSDOS type of program stuff. So anyway you got a airplane, perfect! Tell what each channel what you want.... Done.... Now heli stuff will drive you nuts with mixes for every this and that. Yuck.
So I want to get a spectrum now!.... I Planned on getting the cool free radio ala blade e45e or bigger. There's YouTube videos I have been watching with setups I understand better... |
