Thanks guys. I was pretty proud of how it turned out and how well it flew.

I did see Chellie's post about her landing gear she put up about the same time this happened.

Will just beef up better bended/joints in my light metal landing gear.

That field is pretty rough right now, but still happy with these first few flights, be happier with better weather now, lol.

Sory to hear that guy ,he found my roof but only left a small set of new plyrs for me
and a new weddingband to replace the one that took a powder when I lost some weight after Thanksgiving witch I regained Christmas day .
Such is life I guess ?

How goes it guy any new planes yet ?
I am still trying to push forward on the G.L. but things keep getting in the way for some reasone ?!?!
I have been under the weather for the last few days so it kept me down and tired
so I am getting tired of being sick -n-tired !!!!

Thanks for the concern George, i am fine all things considered and i have a Yak55 almost
ready for a maiden. I just have to get the canopy sorted.
Hope ya get the G.L. sorted ok

Ok got the Yak55 finished and did the maiden this morning.
First flight was quite wild and upon landing the hot glue let loose on the motor mt.
Re glued the motor and went back out for a second flight but the wind had gotten
a lot stronger and it grabbed the Yak and slammed it into a tree trunk.
Quite a bit of damage but i will repair it with Foam Tac and hot glue and fly it again.
Not today though. Here is a pic before the second maiden.

Old santa left me a fun cub but the kit was missing vital parts so a e-mail and a call later,and a week or so i got my parts i was missing and they through in some extra wheel collars too for free . joe

the wind gets me most of the time ,thats one reasone I don't get enough
stick time to get used to controlling my planes !!
I will try to get healthy before spring comes !?!?!

Yeah thanks George, i usually fly in almost no wind so it makes a big difference.

Well the Yak didn't last too long a Jackpine ate it.Ha
Here is the replacement, The Ugly P-40 flying tiger
I didn't have any round foam left so i just made it square.Ha
Did the maiden yesterday and she flys ok, sorta like a Warbird.

Hi Hawk I am just about done with a profile plane that i am making, that will get the Heavy Duty Aluminum Profile landing Gear I am Making the landing gear for med 30 to 40" WS and larger 45"+WS profile Foam or Wood planes, RC and CL, should have them out in a little while, Check out this Thread, It has to do with a Red Tailed Hawk
