Neat. I didn't think too much about it until it said they can do it with aerospace grade titanium. Amazing!
On another subject, those poor, poor Morris Technologies employees... No doubt GE will take this technology and ship it overseas. |

Generally its just powdered metal that is heated or even glued. Composits and similar things are getting to be able to do so much these days. Exciting times.

Awesome. I remember the days when impeller blades were machined with 5 axis cnc machining centers. Some complex programming. Now this. Net shape parts printed. Wow factor.
