Haven't had a chance to fly with them yet (field was full of people w/ dogs & frizbies ) but ground tests seem quite promising - cut down on sun's glare quite a bit, colors seem richer. Tomorrow, with any luck.

Happy flying may your crashes be limited and if they are not limited let them be cool.

Took it up this morning & did some video... Not a good test though as it was kinda over-cast, plus kinda windy. I couldn't get much altitude either - the Cox Skycruiser is rather over-loaded with two of these cameras on board
![]() But, the results were encouraging, video-quality wise. I think I'll mount just one camera on the bottom and try again later. Now I've got two of them, one under each wing to balance it out, and to protect the camera during landing. But as cheap as these things are I guess I can afford to try it with camera as landing skid

I did the same thing. Cut up some old sunglasses. Worked well.

Ok, I'm in. Seems like something easy enough to try and painless if we dont like the results!

The new ones on Ebay have the bigger lens on now which can be swapped out for a different lens which is a bonus, theres a huge thread over on rcgroups on it,looks and sounds like the best one so far plus the newer one has a plug,FPV anyone.

I don't like the idea of 'sunglasses' as these little cams need all the light they can get. Can you post a vid with the results?
I have one of those startazz and I love it. I don't use FPV but this cam is good for it. |
