Built my first EDF. Learned a good lesson. Even if the instructions say glue everything up tight, leave yourself some easy access to the fan unit and ESC. Lest you have to do some serious cutting like I did.

I'll try to maiden for the second time Sunday or Monday if the weather is good.

Repairs dont look too difficult & hopefull the electrics survived as well.

In case you havent heared theres going to be a asteroid nearly hitting the earth tomorrow night. It is 150 feet wide & will miss the earth by 15 minutes......yikes!!!

If it were to hit the earth a direct hit would level a city they say

Daves new 15 footer broomstick glider. Its wing is made out of 6 pieces of dollar foamboard & a couple of broomsticks for a fuse.
Once he moved the wings back a couple of inches & trimmed it out it flew pretty saaweeet

Ouch!!!....that one looked like it hurt a little bit!

Judging by the "debris field" id say it looks like you almost pulled out of it.

If you decide its fixable take a look at the changesun 10 & 12 blade fans http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1521248.
The sound of them is just freakn' awesome. Gonna put one in my f-16 someday
