Where is alll the SEFF chatter??????

Just like the title says. There is only 64 days left. I am starting to think SEFF is losing its popularity. So what the(*%$#)^$ is going on?

as for me ,here up north theres different things going on but i don't really travel outside my local areas to fly[1 1/2 hrs in any direction]. I'm sure they'll be more seff stuff as the day draws nearer and spring fever sets in.

SEFF is too far for me, but I'm already getting geared up for the Fly-Low-In at my local club... I wish I could go to SEFF, though...

Even if you are in the most northern part of NJ. It should only be about 975 miles to SEFF. Trust me it is worth it.

I'm new to electrics, but no R/C flying. I'll be attending with a surprise new plane I'm building, and electric 48" span 3D SPAD (Simple Plastic Airplane Design) made from coroplast and PVC downpipe. I'll bring my foam planes as well..This event sounds like fun! I'm loving this new to me electric experience!

Fun doesn't even begin to describe it! Look us up and hang out a while. "Team Cobra" as we seem to be called now will be set up on the Sport Flyer line. And don't worry, you'll know us when you see us!

The best part about SEFF is the people. You also don't attend SEFF, you experience it. This is an event like no other. The memories will last a lifetime. After one visit, you will want to return every year.

Yep this will be fun! Anyone can fly the Spad Boy, it's not like you can hurt it!

Pilot I have heard those planes are tough and can take a beating in combat. I fly a Gremlin that uses gutter for the fuse that stuff can take a seriouse hit and keep going. Have to put some streamers off the tail end, and try doing some ribbon cutting.
This one is going to SEFF it is a blast to fly.

Yep. I built this thing a couple years ago, but it was grossly underpowered on the .46 glow engine I had in it. Not this time!

Mark is your spad electric powered? Reason I ask is this is a electric fly event only. The only wet fuel plane you will see fly, and I can't wait to see it is the B-29 flown by Mac Hodges.

This has a 50cc = Outie On it,, Two ten-cell's =10 Mins flying time,
They make um much bigger as well, Bubsteve

I'm converting all my stuff from wet to LiPo....Gotta figure the conversions so I can shop around for powerplants...I know Horizon offers complete packages with ESC, motor, and such, but MAN they aren't cheap! I'm thinking Hobby King for some of the stuff.....Any help would be greatly appreciated. I think I saw a conversion chart somewhere on the site here???

Wow that thing looks big! What's the span? And love your "Co-pilot" in the third picture!

This might help with the power selection and the last page are some links to conversion sizes. Gonna be limited in motors by your prop though. I have a mix bag of motors eflite, hacker, some BP motors and I am using my first NTM form HK haven't flown with this one yet.

Thanks for the links! I'm Sooooooooo tired of messy wet planes after flying, and having to deal with touchy glow engines...I actually gave up flying for a while because I was so tired of glow issues...I'm more excited about R/C now than I ever have been before in 30+ years of dabbling in them!
