Default new to flight and site!

hi everyone im going onto my second summer of rc flight something i have always wanted to do as a kid and now im that 30 yr old kid with some extra cash so its time. i stumbled upon this site while researching my latest purchase. a red star trainer from blitzworks now i know ill get some flak for buying from BH and i did kick myself after i read the posts on here but hey we have to learn the hardway sometimes and i am pretty excited to get this plane. a little history of my short flight career here. last summer i started flying with a horizon hobby firebird stratos. loved it!!! took the beatings and crashes and kept on going until i had it figured out. so now i am a ace pilot and able to actually fly a real plane(in my own excited mind) that i actual went out and bought a aviators text book to study actual flight lol (yes a bit over excited ) so what did i do right away not more then 10 flights on a trainer i go and buy a parkzone p51 and ......holy crap this is so sweet omg its flying!!! look look and not thinking of the time of day i got it up in the air i realize its dark now and i cant see it and crash. lol but wait wait before that the maiden i hand tossed it and it cut left and smashed into my house. so alot of heart ache and anger until i discover oh epoxy!!!!! woo hoo back in business its not totalled and now back to crashing in the dark. found parts re glued it again and started to learn how aleirons work and how fast u can become inverted and crash. a few more crashes into swamps and the season was over. so now i decided to step back a few moves and try a trainer again and i bought 5 replacement spjnners props and the other important one. so thanks for having me and thanks for any feed back. i will fly till i die now and i love it. p.s . i did land the mustang 50% of the time with textbook landings and no damage !!!
