I bought a Flyzone Select Scale FW-190 because it seemed like a great deal for the price. Turns out that the deal may not have been that great. The plane flies very well according to the guy I got to test fly it for me. (I'm a beginner and haven't flown it.) The flaps slowed the plane nicely for landing. Then the right landing gear folded up on contact with the ground. After having done the research I should have done before I made the purchase, I now know that this is a problem with this model. The landing gear is weak and prone to breakage. So I'm looking for ideas to fix what is otherwise a great flying model. So far my only idea is to disconnect the servos and fill the wheel wells with something like Gorilla Glue. Then the landing gear would be permanently extended but that beats having them collapse/break as I've read they are prone to do.
