My PIPER doesn't fly ...why?
I bought this used Cub EP with a 36" span.
Motor: KBM 31/21 motor ( ithink specs are 31/21 Brushless Motor 51g 1750Kv) with the ESC: 25A
I tried using a Lipo : Pulse Lipo 860Mah 11.1V 35C
Came with 8 x 7g weights stuck on motor mount in front.
Stuck its 7x3.5 prop with prop saver.
CG was right on 1/3rd from front of wing.
Tried a maiden: Hand launched full throttle. It just came down nose first.I launch it by hand and even with full up elevator it goes down nose first.
What could have gone wrong ? I feel lots of power when holding plane in full Throttle.
Is plane too heavy ?
Now second time I want to try a prop adapter with a 7x5eAPC.
Will this be better?
Motor axis is toward right and low ....so torque aint an issue.
Elevator is flat in line with horizontal stabilizer. Cg is 33% along chord from leading edge of wing. everything seems ok.
Wonder why there's 56g extra nose weight that the previous owner stuck?
Shall I remove the extra weight in front and adjust lipo position?
Is my lipo too big for this plane?
Pls advice , I will wait for u all to advice till I fly again!
