I just reached my fourth anniversary. In that time, I've gone from an RTF, no-interest-in-building guy to an avid scratch builder. But I've never built an old-school balsa and covering model. I'm about to rectify that.
I just ordered a StevensAero SkyBuggy 300
and all the requisite bits.
I'll say right now that I have no idea
how to apply covering (in this case, AeroLITE) to a plane. That's the part I'm most nervous about, but I trust that I can get some tips and tricks here on Watt Flyer if and when I need them.
