Default Blade SR 120, 2nd heli!

I picked up a coupla used ones on E-bay, as i wanted something a little larger than my MSR, which i still have fun flyin, but, i was wondering......im just starting to attempt some forward flying with some turns, and sometimes i do FAIR, and sometimes its UGLY!(CRASH!) Seems im behind with with tail rotor control. This is the RTR version that comes with the little 4 channel transmitter, and i was wondering if using my DX6i with proper adjustments (DR/EXPO,etc) would help tame the heli down a little, or is it just my my lack of skills and experience that is the culprit?? I am AMAZED at how well the SR has held up to the number and severity of "wrecks" ive had so far! I welcome ANY advice!
