Default Ultron Maiden

Had decent weather this morning again and did the maiden on the Ultron.
First flight wasn't flying too straight so cut it short and made some tweaks.
Next up a little better so flew it up high for awhile to keep it away from the trees. Seems to want to be flown fast and that's not my stile so i will have to
find a way to slow it down. I don't have a lot of room here between the trees.

Could it be a skosh nose-heavy?

It was nice with <10MPH winds here, so I took my big wing out. It's currently my favorite plane.

No Mark it wasn't nose heavy. It was pilot error. It got behind me and on the
other side of the house where i couldn't see it and crashed. I didn't want to try
and rebuild it so i put it in the trash burner. But of course i removed all the good stuff first.

Beautiful day today, if you ignore the heat. Hardly any wind and nobody at all at one of my favorite flying parks.

Thanks. It does pretty well considering the five foot wingspan.

Charged up a bunch of LiPo's ready to go flying with a buddy ... then called airport to make sure will be 'quiet' .... Air Sea Rescue boys booked up for 3 days .. so even our site outside the airport is unuseable !

Well all I can hope is I get a free airshow again !!

Calm early this morning so got in one flight with the Infineon Bipe.
Bad landing messed up the plane pretty well so i will scrap it as i am building another 3d
plane to practice with. I also have the Michael Wargo signature Yak 55 ordered from HK
Been waiting quite awhile for them to make it available.

As if the heat wasn't bad enough, I was swarmed by Mississippi Kites at two different parks today.

Nope - never made contact. They seemed to be trying to intimidate "me."

Great video, Mark. They followed the wing right down to the ground. There seemed to be at least two of them, working together. That is a classic video.

Thanks guys. I've never turned the camera around backwards on my wing before but those birds kept dive-bombing it so I thought I'd try to get some footage.
