Ready for flight testing!
Starting with power, the OS Max 3825/750 motors are spinning 12x6 APC props driven by 80 amp controllers. The flight controller is a APM 2.5 with GPS. Gens Ace 5S 5300 packs keep the 7.7lb. drone airborne for as much as 30 minute missions with battery to spare. Radio is JR 9503 with Spektrum module. First flights are tomorrow. APM is loaded into the laptop, and now I'm hoping for calm skies. |
