I just wanted to let the fliers in the Tulsa area know I have 4 flyable planes for sale. One that is almost ready. And a Mountain Models kit nib for sale. And would be happy to bring them to Tulsa.
Don't mean to spam the thread. But wanted to make sure people in the area know about them.

Hey all, just wanted to check in and see what was going on. Not much that I can see xD

Anyway, had the sad ordeal of salvaging my (formerly Brett's) tricopter. But it took out something else on it's way down!
Oops....

P.S. is anyone interested in that arduino based FC? I don't think I'll be re-using it..

Man, this looks like the group I've been looking for. I got my first SC a couple years ago but quickly fell out of the hobby (crashed frequently, flew alone). Recently got back into it and lost my SC (lost radio contact). I bought an Apprentice and might come join you guys. I'm still learning and consider myself a beginner. If beginners are welcome, I'll try it out!

I've noticed this group has been a little dead lately. Last time I went out to the unclub field (about a month ago) there was nobody there and I'm not sure why.

I've put the planes up for a while why I work on my Quad copters. Once I get them back together I will post pictures.

I hadn't been out to the Unclub (dare I say that word - Garnett Field?) in months, but dropped by a few weeks ago. I wasn't there at dawn-30 on a weekend though. I simply wanted to see what type of field was there anymore that I could fly from. When I first started out there were patches of smooth ground that I could take off and land with my simple Slow Stick. What I saw was mostly the same field, but with pretty high weeds. No way I could take off or land my scale type planes. Maybe because the "Lieutenant" isn't around anymore? <grin>

I still find River West Festival park a lot better to fly from. Nice, smooth field, always mowed - and even concrete pads to use if you want. And, quite often, River Park security guards are around. One has stopped to chat with me several times. And, for video stuff, the view is a LOT better too. Good view of the river, downtown, etc....

Here's a recent flight with my ParkZone F4U-1A a while back - fitted with fully operational flaps and rotating retractable landing gear (custom aluminum gear trunnions!) Such a sweet flying warbird!!

nice video Doug! Love the camera angles.
When the weather warms up a little, we need to get together and fly.

If anyone is still looking at Wattflyer, I have something to sale.

Im selling my Bumble bee Quad, 550mm size . Works great, it will carry a GoPro camera in the case with no problem, uses a 3 cell 2000 to 4000 size lipo. It has a Naza copy flight control, but no gyro. It will level itself, but drifts with the wind. you can also turn off the stabilization for more aggresive flying, like rolls, and flips. If you've seen me fly, you know what it can do. I've proven this quad handles crashes well. Broken props, and sometimes the landing skids. I can demo for you.
Im asking $300 for it. It will come with a DMX2 reciever, a 4000mAh and 2800mAh 3 cell lipos. I also have some spare parts, and Props.
I need some cash for a new Multi Rotor. Not sure what I'm getting yet, but it's time to move up to somthing that can handle a brushless gimble.

Brett flying his BumbleBee. The winds were rather stiff too but it flew great.
It would be a good buy for multi-rotor dudes!
