Hey Otto, I downloaded the prints for the 62" flyguy and they were great. I love it and it is 85% complete. Everything is going together smoothly and I think you did a great job with the prints. Any suggestions on how to set up the radio. I have a Spektrum DX 8.

gotta go life size....

Scream of an EDF would ruin it in my opinion. It needs a nearly silent power system and then a voice radio system so a buddy on the ground can make it say superhero catch phrases.

I use a DX8 also. Set it up for elevons. The newer DX8s have two elevon settings, mine has one. Check to see that both servos are set normal for direction. Plug the servos in the receiver. If the roll and pitch are both correct or both backwards you have the right servos in the right plugs. If either roll or pitch are correct but the other is not, reverse the plugs on the receiver untill they are both correct or both backwards. If roll and pitch are both backwards you will need to reverse both servos. I used all the throw I can and use 30 percent expo on both pitch and roll.

the ChangeSun 10 and 12 blade 70mm fans sound a lot more like jets than most 5 blade e.d.f. units of the same size... a 3000 mah 4 cell would be about the smallest battery i'd want to fly on that fan with an 80 amp e.s.c. so the 6 foot flyguy one might work.....

Default Guillermo and Jack

I designed a portly suited man and a normal suited man for some fun. Guillermo has his own thread and the normal suited man is just a modification of Guillermo. Both fly very well and Jack has answered some questions about head size in design.

Here is the Guillermo thread:

Here is a video of Jack. For those in the East, Jack in the Box is a fast food chain with fun commercials featuring Jack.

Default Ms Emerson takes flight

Rec'd my wings from Birdofplay and took her out to fly. She is a really a fun slow flyer. This configuration makes the female Flygirl really fly well. Total weight came out to 4 lbs with about 12 sqft of wing. Legs are used as rudders and wing ends are elevators. 4 flights today without any issues.
