Is Everyone out of stock??!

I was looking to get a new plane for Christmas but it looks like EVERY one of the planes I was looking at is now out of stock. Maybe I am not aware of other good places to get high quality planes. I am looking for a good balsa model in the $150 range. Anyone have any other companies to suggest?

Check out the Extreme Flight lineup. The EXP series are super bad ass, and you can read about the entire 48" lineup at my blog, Extreme Aviation.

Unfortunately the Extra EXP is out of stock for about three weeks, but there are plenty of Laser EXPs in the warehouse. Edge EXPs and MXS EXPs are also in stock.

The 48" EXP series airframes sell for $179.99. You can also get the plane with Torque Motor and Airboss Elite ESC for $299.99, which I feel is the best deal in the industry.

I've seen so much of out of stock I could scream...even if you had money you couldn't buy anything at many places. especially batteries and kits. It's nuts!

I share the same feeling. I've given up on Nitroplanes completely. Everytime I go to look for a Gens Ace Lipo , they're out of stock. Value Hobby adn Grayson seem to be on the ball with inventory. I think what happens is that many of these places don't re-order until they can fill a full sea container. So the stock gets depleted in the meantime and they lose people like me for good.

Times are tough and a lot of these companies simply can't afford to have a big batch of planes sitting on the shelf. They have to turn the stuff over fast, so some companies are stocking less and less stuff. Extreme Flight runs out from time to time too, but they have a new shipment coming in a coupe of weeks and just about everything they make outside of the giant planes will be back in stock.

From what I can tell, the only 48" Exp that's out of stock is the Extra, and like I say, a couple of weeks and those will be back. That still leaves you the Edge, MXS and Laser to choose from, and all of those are sick airplanes.

Give a shot to Value Hobby. They have one that looks good to me but I do not have the Oasis.

I have flown the Yak they carry - I am not a 3D guy but it was a great sport plane. The quality was middle of the line.

Yaayy!! My wife got the LAST 48" Edge in stock from 3DHS. Build is finally complete! Well, the wheel pants had an issue so they are not on yet but that can be added later.
