Default Olympia PSSF

We are the Puget Sound Silent Flyers, located in Olympia, Washington. Our membership base of approximately 60 individuals share an interest in designing, building and flying radio-controlled model aircraft.

Our operations are limited to sailplanes and electric aircraft only. Noise and safety are primary concerns.

My problem is that the majority of my flight is w/ a LOUD stryker. Does that still count? I work @ St. Petes and wouldn't mind flying there next season.

DragonWeezel,

You would not be the first person to fly one of those at the field. I am sure you would be welcome. A Striker is still far less noisy then most glow/gas models. Come on out the December club meeting on the 17th and introduce yourself.

Default Well, I finally did join

A few years later ... LOL

And the years have FLOWN by! Still flying Strykers, have an Icon A-5 I fly @ Long Lake. Rebuilding a Radian (for relaxed soaring) & Radian Pro (for fun, Games, and AV), and am 1/2 done w/ a MPX Fun Cub, oh, and am rebuilding a typhoon after the elevator snapped on me

So I'm an addict...

It has been along time. I actually have not flown in over a year. With a tight budget I have to pick and choose my hobbies at the moment and fling has taken a back seat to RC Car racing. Sounds like you have been bitten by the bug though. Keep em in the air.
