I downloaded one of those ages ago from Solid Works, if I remember correctly. I've used it in the past.

that's Solidworks BTW, not Hippocket

For those that don't have an A-cad or SW license, there are several free A-cad viewers out there. Here's one: http://www.windows7download.com/win7.../nxqsrzmk.html

AMA plans site was mentioned...
and you probably don't want to look at something older than about 1995...

The plans don't just go back to 1975. Some plans go back to 1936 (or before!).

The magazines just go back to 1975 due to the older archives being lost in a fire.

*************

An issue with e-power and a "Pattern" model the size you desire is battery placement. This can make a mid-wing impractical. You may find with a wing tube going through the center of the fuselage you end up wanting to put 2 smaller batteries in, one in front of and the other behind the wing tube.
Going above or below the tube can introduce vertical CG issues that adversely affect knife edge.
You CAN cure the tendency to roll with rudder in a pattern model by moving weight up or down in the fuselage.
(CG is in 3 dimensions, not just nose to tail and precision aerobatics are not forgiving about any of the 3 dimensions)

edit: I just tried it, and it took me about 3 seconds to scroll down and find the photo on the right. It is one of the few photos listed, so it makes it really easy to find.

Trying to make me think I'm losing my mind there Nigel? You mentioned only Outerzone, and not Hippocket. That's why I couldn't find them. There is no Outerzone/Hippocket site, as they are two entirely different sites. There was no mention of Hippocket:
Sorry - my fault - I had a reminder from HP to login or loose access .. I logged in after visiting Outerzone !

Ok - found Pacifique .... I got to lots of no pics and didn't scroll on enough. Now trouble is I cannot work with dxf files - I have viewers etc. - but they always print to single A4 size ... what I need is PDF files - as I can resize / tile ... play to hearts content with those.

The Curare I now have in original 64", 47" and 30" span .... covering near all possibilities of motors etc. I have. The original 64" - I forgot just how big that fuselage / wing was !!
