Glad you got it flying good with the different power setup.

Joe be interested in a set of plans for this when you get it done. Very interesting plane and I like interesting ones. Ironic that I don't have any in my hanger though.

Nearly every day at work,a Piaggio P180 Avanti II flies over my route. I notice it because it's twin engines have a distinctive sound.
I've always wanted to build a canard plane and I think you may have just inspired me.

Thats a nice canard plane ,i have a buddy now in florida ( Merlyn Graves ) and before he moved from around me he built a 120 lb beach starship . It had two 80 cc da motors running backwards and retracts plus brakes . He is going to releice his plans in 4 different sizes one day soon and iam 1st on the list. lol Gramps when i get the plans done i will put you at the top of my list . This plane is very fun to fly and every one else stops to watch it fly.

Being it might take me a while to draw the foam plans up and that this is only a box fuse i will put up the plans that are 75 % witch is around a 42 inch wing .They are tiled so you can print them out. The cg on my smaller one was exacly what was on my plan so it will be right on this one. Making the wing is easy once you have the airfoil shape on this plan. I want to build this bigger then draw foam plans but its easy to build and if you try one just pm me with any problems. I used 1/4 by 3/8 balsa stips inside the fuse and ran them to the back to help suport the firewall. The trust angle on the back for up and down work out great for electrict and it needed no side thrust angle. This plans normal size is 100 % and that is what it needs to be printed at for a 42 inch wingspan . joe

The only formers i made out of ply was the front one and the one in front of the wing and the motor mount. the rest were dollar tree foam along with all the sheeting .The front wheel is 1/2 A wheel from dubro but hobby king makes a good one with the servo on it. The main gear i bent up myself . It needs to sit a little high so it can rotate with out hitting the prop and the nose gear sits a little lower so it does not lift off going down the runway untill you give it some up elev. REMEMBER up elev is down elev on a canard and down elev is up elev but set your elev stick on your transmitter the correct way so dont get confused and crash. joe
