get the Trex 450 pro V2, that would be a better step up IMHO.

This is kinda what I had in mind, I know the mcpx is smaller but with my experience level the mcpx I cheaper to fix. Do they fly comparable as far as the functions themselve go. |

Variables !
Do you have the space to fly a 450 ? A lot of people around ? ( safety ) This year I plan on getting a Micro CP as I have enough 450's , and the weather has been bad , so something indoor outdoor might make more sense .. |

I've got enough room to fly apaches so space is not a issue. The guy I bought my micros from has a 400 he said he will sell pretty reasonable so I'm gonna go that route.
