The Slow Stick is probably the only thing that has kept GWS afloat the past several years. You should have no problem getting parts for it. In fact, just get an NPS (No Power System) kit and you have a box full of spare parts right there.
![]() If not, ALLeRC (www.allerc.com) or Gorilla Bob's (www.gorillabobs.com) are good sources for parts. |

It seems to me that the hardest part to find is the brushless motor mount.
It looks like gorillabob still has some of the plastic ones but most every other place i have looked does not have them. I bought the aluminum one at HURC and it is very strong. I had a ground stike on a takeoff and it actually splintered the boom and ripped the mount right off but no damage to the mount. I see that HURC is out of the aluminum ones now as well but did find them here http://smallpartscnc.com/index.php?r...product_id=111. Hopefully that will link up. These slow stick are a lot of fun and can be flown about anywhere. I hope you enjoy yours. Dont forget to add the ailerons. If your going to glue your servo to the wing I found that you need to cut the skin off to get good adhesion. |

The great thing about the Slow Stick is you don't HAVE to use genuine replacement parts, such as the motor mount, D Frame plastic parts (like the wing mounts and such), and wheels. You can find lots of places selling aftermarket parts for it.
Like subzJC said above, the metal motor mount is great, and better than the plastic stock one if you ask me. |

Thanks guy's I seen the aluminum motor mount last night on a site just can't remember which one. I got my SS from heads up rc and in a message that they sent as a reply to a ? I had they could only get the blue SS kit w/bl motor. They couldn't get the blue ARF. I bought the blue SS because it came with the brushless. Now for replacement parts I can't find the blue I plan to order at least 2 ARF kits I found 1 blue kit no electronics and they charge 2 or 3 dollars more than the red or yellow I don't care what color it is.

Blue slow sticks are the way to go
.I had the aluminium motor mount and a e apc prop. When my prop would strike on hard landings, it would split and shatter the fiberglass fuse. I have sine upgradded to a thick walled 10mm cf fuse, and its so much stronger it isn't even funny. I actually broke the aluminium mount, I lost signal with my dx6I and recovered just before hitting the ground. I gave it full throttle and full up(240 watts btw), cleared the ground, but not the top of the fence at the other end of the feild. I plan to upgrade to a 480 class motor, about 450w, to help with the verticle performance from all the weight I have added with my bipe kit. Beef up your landing gearb put some larger 3" gws parkflier wheels on it if you can find them, and have some fun. |

There is a BF109 in the lhs in my area made by this company. But I'd never find parts for it.
