Question Why are my posts so tall?

OK, I always hated in forums when people have all kinds of signatures and what-not, so that even when they make a one word post, it takes up 3/4 of the vertical area of your monitor with empty space. I now find that my posts are just like that! I'm one of 'them'!

It appears to have something to do with the stuff in the sidebar by the avatar, but I compare it with other peoples sidebars, and can't pick out any one thing that does it. I suppose I could get rid of my location, club memberships, etc., but like I said others have that in there and there posts aren't so darn tall!

Any ideas? I mean, look at all the empty space under here!

The Awards Showcase makes it a little taller, as does having a Club listed. You were recently given the Outstanding Contributor award, and that's why you have more post space now.

If a member does not have any awards, then nothing shows up in the sidebar. At a minimum, the stuff displayed in the sidebar is:

Member Name
Tagline

Join Date
Posts
Thanked count

iTrader count
Friends count

Adding things like Location, avatar, Club and Awards makes the sidebar bigger.

Well, I guess so. Just seems the only things I can do are remove location & clubs, and those are just 2 little lines. I guess if that's how it's designed, I'll just deal with it. Thanks for replying.
