I have not had a chance to to run it on a wattmeter, but others are getting 2,000w on 6s - http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...5&postcount=62 - mine is on 8s so mine has got to be over 2,000watts.

Almost breaking the 4kw club but 3kw is fine too! Here's my 3DHS 87" Extra 300 SHP with the initial A123 setup. Switching back to lipos if that tells you anything...Here's the powerplant setup:
Hacker A60-18L/Hacker Spin 99/14s2p A123's 24 x 12 APC e. Plus 2 x A123's for the Rx pack. AUW around 18lbs.
1st flight numbers from Spin Box:
Here's some numbers off the Spin Box for flight 1 with the A123's. Guessing weight around high 17 to 18+lbs :
Max Current: 78.3A
39.06V 6:41 duration

Min. Current: 44.6A
40.74V 7:47 duration

Max Voltage: 47.89V
Min Votage: 38.92V

Actual Voltage: 48.83V
Off Voltage: 44.31

Motor Run Time: 6:31

Flight #2:
Max Current: 81.7 amps
38.35v 7:46min.
Min. Current: 57.2amps
40.23v 3:54min.
Max Voltage: 52,85v

Min. Voltage: 36.91v

Actual: 53.16v

Off Voltage : 43.07v

Motor Run Time: 7:50min.

Power on time: 9:03
Had issues with A123's and am switching back to lipos. I'll try and update with some more Spin Box numbers with lipos. Looks like I might have broken 4kw with the last flight using a 25 x 12.5 apc-e. But mid 3500-3700watts is probably a reasonable estimate. Lots of fun and what an airframe! This is arguably one of the best 50cc sized airframes on the market today. I made some SFG's for my beta test version but the production versions all have them stock. Even better KE and rolling maneuvers with it. I'll also be trying out a Scorpion 5455 when they come out too. Should have a Neu 1521 sometime this year to test out too. Probably going to save that one for Bipe-XXL though Let me know what I've got to do to grab a 3KW sticker!

Hey Mike! I've got another one for ya'.

I'm really excited to be posting this--even moreso than I was when I posted my Screamin' Delta Demon to the 100+MPH thread.

This is my submission for the 1KW badge:

Plane: World Models Rambler - 30 (bought used without a power setup)
Motor: Turnigy 50-55 600
ESC: Flying 70A Brushless ESC
Prop: JXF 12x8 Poly Composite
Battery: 4 x ABF ~20C 2200mah 3S lipos wired in a 6S2P configuration (4400mah 6S)

I hooked the plane up to my Watts Up! meter, braced it, set it to full throttle, and I got a max watt reading of 1336W, with a peak amp reading of 60.95A. Pictures of the meter readings are below:

Name:	100_8453.jpg
Views:	162

Below is a picture of the plane just before the maiden:

And of course the obligatory embarassing photo the wife took of the plane nosed in because I forgot to keep up elevator applied while taxiing across the rough soccer turf after landing.

Here's a fixed angle video I took of the maiden:

Doppler analysis showed my fastest flyby at between 103 and 106mph. And you gotta love the sound it makes flying over--almost like a real plane.

Also, for reference, here's a thread I started covering the experience of my maiden flight with the plane.

Let me know if I need to provide some additional information or pics, Mike.

Man, I'm so giddy about this. Ya'll here on WF have sure turned me into SUCH a plane nerd.

Thanks for that.
