Hi:

Yes, when charging LiPo in parallel, you may have different capacity batteries, but you MUST maintain the same cell count.

When setting charge rate, set it based on the pack with the lowest capacity; e.g., if you wish to charge 3300 and 2200 mAh at the same time, and you are shooting for 2C charge rate, tell the PL8 you are not charging in parallel, and set the rate manually at 4.4A.
