There must be 1000 ways to mount your servos, but i dont know them All I have run across a neet way to mount servos in a tight area, Nodd figured a way to mount servos in a tight area that requires a special configuration so the servo arms dont hit the sides of the fuselage, sheer Genius Nodd Please post pics of how you mount your servos, it may help others with their build when they come across a difficult situation, Take care and have fun, Chellie Sheer Genius Nodd ![]() ![]()

Do not Judge, or you too will be Judged. For in the same way you Judge others, you will be Judged, and with the same measure you use, it will be measured to You.

on some of my Foamies i cut a hole in the foam for the servo and glue them in with hot glue, they are easy to take out with a knife heated with a cig lighter, and on some of my foam planes, i lay the servo on the side and hot glue them in, if i need a strong bond, then i will use 5 min epoxy, and scratch one side of the servo before glueing them in.
epoxied a few pieces of bass wood in place and mounted the servos in a row on the SS Layed the servos on their sides and hot glued them in Cut a square hole in the wing, pushed the servos through the hole and hot glued in place |

Sometimes I screw to ply plates AND I dare say it - have fitted at angle as your NODD !
I've buried with servo tape / hot glue into foam blocks hollowed out ... I've servo taped into wing pockets ....(first I usually run a layer of epoxy in to level the inside and to give a better adhesion for the servo tape). I've clamped by using tin-plate U brackets .... Cut holes in fuselage sides ... hot glue the servo into the hole..... Fitted to ply or plastic plates with screw tabs to hold each end ..... As you say Chellie ... 1000's of ways .... One trick is to wrap servo in clear tape and then hot glue ... you only need slice the tape then to extract. Another trick ... you want a hot glue cutter ? Fit thin gauge wire to a solder iron ...
