Seems like we might share similar taste in model set up! As this is not my model I'll not push the CG much further back but it's at the rear of the boxes now and it feels like it could go a way back yet before anything bad started to happen.

It's flying with an 'undersize' 2600mAh lipo at the moment but it's proved to be perfectly ok though flight times might be short if flown like a pylon racer.

I finally maidened mine yesterday morning. I got the BNF for Christmas when HH dropped them down to $259.

I Love this plane! She's a stable flyer for sure.

I experimented with flaps about 2 mistakes high but I still don't have a really good feel for them. I didn't have to use them to land. I had a steady 5-7 mph head wind and landing was easy as could be. I kept about 5 or 8 clicks of throttle on until she was about 2 feet high and then slowly decreased to zero.

I usually fly alone so here are two static pics.
Two Thumbs way UP!!

I found the flaps very useful. They have minimal effect on the trim but they add plenty of drag meaning you can come in on a much steeper approach.
The soccer pitched where I fly have been rolled which has removed the worst of the divots so landing are now ok, no more nose-overs.
