In a similar boat but not cold. Grounded nevertheless. Wind is currently 17 mph gusting to 35. Expecting severe thunderstorms with hail and possible tornadoes later. Then, drenching rains. Could be what say in Texas: " a frog strangler!"

Been windy the last 3 weeks. A few spotty days that were flyable. It's hit or miss.

Next week looks better. Caught up on hangar maitenance. Nothing new to build. So, I will twittle my thumbs.

Hope your situation improves!

Oh so windy, but totally flyable for quads, and the epp wing like the assassin from Crashtest Hobby. This thing flys fpv like on rails. Winds were 10 to 20mph in the morning. died down to 10 most of the afternoon. then back to 15 with gusts to 25mph. mix of clouds and sun, but best of all.....80 degs!!! Felt like summer. Spent 5 hours at the field and flew maybe 10 flight on the assortment of birds brought to the field today. Even the Hummer flew great in the wind.

Sunday should be cooler[60's] , with winds around 10mph. and cloudy. perfect for more practice. todays pilots were several guest who fly 200mm quads crazt good going through gates ,around flags. i couldn't even remember the coarse pattern more or less fly through the tiny gates. I will get better with practice but my brain doesn't react as fast as young kids who grew up playing games on the computer

narrow is the place to land...wide is the space to crash....choose the narrow way!

It's raining and muddy, so I can't even fly my truck, let alone my planes.

High 60's. Winds at a meager 7 MPH. Granted, it was 9 PM but, still, you gotta grab your opportunities where you find them.

Club is having a fly in today. Of course, winds are blowing at a steady 15 MPH, gusts to 30.

I generally won't put a plane up anytime I have to tie it down on the ground to keep it from blowing away.

What goes up, must come down. The trick is to keep it in one piece.

Tomorrow's forecast looks great! I'll be charging up the batteries after I get my 'Honey Do' list (clean the pellet smoker, power wash the rear patio) done.

Nice morning to fly or whatever.
Got in a nice one with the Infineon and then flew the Ultimate Bipe but had no
rudder towards the end of flight so had to crash land. No damage at all though.
I believe the rudder servo burned out. Was going to fly the other Infineon this
morning but i noticed the motor was loose so aborted that one.
Guess i have some repairs to do.

Had good session this morning ... Mig29 ... Tiger Moth .. Catalina .... but marred by the EPP Edge 540 doing its usual trick of shedding hinges !

We're still in wind season. 15-25 plus it's tropically muggy in fact, stifling.

We actually had beautiful two days in a row. Unheard of in my neck of the woods. I got the chance to dial in my new scratch-built glider.
