Default First Turkey

Sorry I haven't been on here in a while. Been pretty busy getting ready for spring turkey season. Also, still looking for work. I've never been turkey hunting before and had to do plenty of research. Upon what I learned from searching the web looking for tips and how-to's...I started scouting for birds about a week before the season.

This bird came into the field and headed towards my hen decoy. He got within 40yds and in full strut. I let him get a hair closer, then when he dropped to half strut and lifted his head...I took him!

Dick, as usual your scale skills are a thing of beauty. You truly can take an ARF 3 levels above any manufacturers' wildest dreams. Thanks for the pictures! Really looking forward to flying with you again.

I know a while ago you posted the A-Main link for the P-51, but I went ahead and got the Hangar 9 .50 F4 for $119. I have been looking for a corsair for a while.

Mike, I hope things are going great for you and the family. What all is in your hangar these days?
Hey John!! I have in the hangar, a Hangar 9 Sundowner 50, a 6ft Predator, Haikong Spit 25, GreatPlanes L-39 Albatros and that F-4 Phantom. Only two are ready to be flown, lol.

Sounds good, bruddah. I hope everything is going good for you. I remember the maiden of that F-4. Very Exciting! ....good times.

Guess what I have got back in my hangar? I bought an airframe only kit about 2 years ago for 50 bucks. I finally got around to assembling it this year and the maiden flight was this morning!
