Get ready to spend some money. If you want to learn to fly well, you'll have to beat the out of your birds for a bit. As for flying indoors, check out some of the previous posts in this thread. There will be an indoor event at the Y in Owasso this weekend...you should be able to find the date and hours.

Yes Sooner, we will be flying indoors the next three Saturdays 17th, 24th, and the 31 of March. 6pm till 9pm at the Y.M.C.A. in Owasso between 76th street north, and 86th street north on the west side of 169. If you have an Ember, bring it. We like to combat the Embers. If you don't have one, get one soon.

By the way, the 120 is a tough bird. I've seen that heli get slammed into the walls, floor, etc. over and over all in the same night, and not one broken part. The guy just picked it up and started flying.

The Vision3D. Weighs about 100gms (under 4oz), looks tough with the epp frame.

Airframe $79, Motor with built in esc $46, recommended servos $25, Hk 4ch rx $9,
$160 to get it in the air, plus your lipo's(2cell 200-400).
Not too bad, but it's an indoor only plane, or zero wind. Kind of hard to justify, when you can only fly it 8 to 12 times a year.
Watching the video's, the down lines seem a little fast, needs some kind of brakes on the back of the control surfaces.

Just talked to David W got two more confirmed dates to fly at the owasso YMCA July 7 and July 21 6-9 pm lets hope no dance classes kick us out !!! 5$ per pilot helps raise money for the Y and the great 68 deg A/C. Come have some fun!!

I've not heard anything about flying indoors in over a year. I'm glad my indoor planes are in boxes, or they would be covered in dust.
Maybe David at the YMCA will see theese post, and get us into the Y.
