OK, Here is the LINK to the 30 FPS cam in 720x480. There are other cams that look just like this at only 25 FPS and 640x480.

Just checked the frame rate at 30.991. at 720x480

How about just a quick vid of a walk around the house in various lighting conditions.

Cheers,

Looks pretty nice for the money for sure!

As for the video quit. Likely a buffering issue with a slow SD card. I used to have the same problems with all of my cameras. I would try a San Disk Ultra II. Very fast.

Did the camera quit recording at 51 sec or did youtube quit at 51 sec?

Besides the chop in the prop, the video clarity is very good.

the camera quit recording becuase the battery ran out. I didnt charge it long enough becuase i kept messing with it...new toy syndrome..but tomorrow im gonna place the camera facing forward on a much better plane. with no prop chop...but yes the actual quality is very impressive for something that weighs as much as 3 nickels.

If you could, place a photo of it in your plane so we can get an idea of what it is like to mount.

sure thing...

oh and I found out why the vid stopped after 52 secs.
When charging with USB, There is no voltage or current entering the LiPo cell. I have opened the backing, and tested the voltage on the cell, it was below 3.2v. I tapped the cell and charged at 200mah at 4.2 volt. I put 150Mah into the cell. Now it powers on and takes video. BUT it will not charge with the USB. must be charged manually by tapping the cell directly and using a Lipo charger. the resistor inside the camera that steps down the USB 5v to lipo 4.2v is bad and not providing current to the cell. It sounds like a pain..but it actually charges faster with the real charger then the crappy USB plug..the seller is very nice and is sending me a replacement.

Just out of curiosity, did you have the camera plugged into a USB hub or directly into the computer? Some USB hubs are not powered and can't be used to charge batteries and such.

Just a thought.

I was actually using a dedicated USB charger. I monitored the cell, no current reaching cell via USB plug. But its all good. the video i'm in the process of uploading right now is impressive to say the least.
