Then use blue painters masking tape and only press it down firm enough to seal it. You do have to be a little careful, but it works well if you take yer time. If you can handle a little extra weight, primer makes a big difference when removing tape. I didn't use any on this one cuz I didn't wanna weigh it down any more than I had to. Brian |

PUNK!
I LOVE IT! TIGHT!!! I was trying to get mine when all there was were those vids of those guys who bought 5 and then had more than 5 fully produced vids with FX and sound on them up within 3 days. Either time goes slower when you get a FJ, or those dudes were working SUPER FAST! LOL!I want one of these in a pretty horrible way....Of course, Virginia hobby shops were some of the last in the county to get the new C strykers...so I can inly imagine how long I will wait to pick up a FJ locally. --C |

Your gonna like it,it is a very clean airframe, and mine fit together nicely.Hell there is only 7 bits of foam or so,and a really nice mount setup that should be able to accomadate most motors easily, thrust line adjustable, and only three bolts to pull it out to change motors.I like that idea,as I am not sure if my motor is going to handle the amps...

I have a Himax 2815-3000 KV inrunner and Mega 16-25-3 laying around. I think I'm going to try the Himax 1st, it's a lighter motor than the big Mega, and it was very fast on my Stryker.

Well, that blew my mind! Now I need to try a rudder on Delta Wing.
My wife just can't understand how a grown man could be "so interested in an oversized flying coffee cup" but supports my decision to be a total madman, nevertheless. I told her I thought a couple of Funjets and a F-18 Balsa ducted fan plane would make for a great X-mas for HER. . . whereupon she replied: "Unless you like sleeping in the snow . . . I better NOT get a plane unless it is a plane ticket south for a few weeks". Women! Gotta love em. . . I just got kicked off the local school's soccor field for flying my Strykerin plain view of the students. It appears that the students were "too distracted" by my flying skills. No wonder I always hated school! |
