Default Sandy's Here! A-1 Skyraider Kit, 400 Size

There have been several posts made about the A-1 "Skyraider" ("Sandy", "SPAD") looking for a small electric version; Well, Charlie at Manzano Laser Works has produced a kit of the model;
Designed by Frederic Klein, there's also a link to an 18-page build thread on RCG of the prototype. Model Specs;

Weight -17.7 Ounces
Wing Area -180 Square Inches
Wing Loading -14 Ounces Per Square Foot
Design Power -"Speed" 400
Controls R/E/A/T (4 Micro Servos Needed)

Awww, go ahead a give in...

My A1D was one of the sweetest flying warbirds. Very gently flier, not bad snap on stall (unless you push it ). Not all that fast on stock power, but, mine climbed forever. Just when I got some ordnance made up for it I crashed it during some 'dogfighting' with Tritle's Ryan P-47.

For the record, mine had a Mega 400/7/15 ourtunner (equivalent to andEFlite 480) on 3s2100 and 9x7 APC slo prop.
