I'll confess I haven't trawled through the entire thread...but it looks like you've got a Canberra person anyways, so I'll keep in the loop of when you're coming through, and come out for a watch!!

You'd need to get a photo of it with Telstra Tower, or Parliament House in the background...that should be easy enough!!

I'm enjoying my Hawk and my Katana EP.

Got a Twinstar and have ordered a wireless camera, so am keen to get that going.

Turns out August is Canberra's windiest month (apparently) so it hasn't been ideal conditions here.

Well i had a great day , just about no wind ,clear sky , sunny , flew all afternoon , my Liberty arf A/P plane trying diff props , AXI 2820-10 , 3s 3200 , 60A esc.........settled on a 11x7apc E , next step ,get the canon 3.2 mp inside ~{:-)

It's going really well, it's a great motor for the price. It is definately my favourite at the moment. I just wish we didn't have so much wind, so I could get in some more flying time in.

One question though, what battery are you using, 3s or 4s? I'm running a 3s and been thinking of trying a 4s for that little bit extra power.

mine's not built yet , been flying my Liberty , but will be using a 3s , I dont want it to go vertical...

@Paul: I've actually been watching your YouKnowWatt thread over on RCG. Do you know how long before you'll have one to sell?

Other than that, my flying is now restricted to early morning flying due the the spring winds here in Canberra. And since I have trouble getting out of bed that early on the weekends, there's not much flying atm.

Could be a little while - I'm running into some teething troubles with it - just not sure of the source/nature of the problem yet. Basically, while i'm getting great voltage readings, my current readings are still bouncing around like a ferret on espresso.

Of course, the YouKnowWatt, like the ESC, are open developments, so other people can step in and make their own too

Today I'm busy with making up some more ESCs for orders... and also working on the new Normaliser design (I hate non-linear math ).

I know what you mean about getting out of bed ... I generally am doing an 8am -> midnight sort of routine at the moment, however a 6am -> 10pm would be better for me overall.
