-Events (whats going on in Your R/C community) -Fields (where do you fly) -Rules (where to get info about your area's flight permission's) -Laws (what is fobidden in Europe. Freqs, Airspace, propulsion) -Online Shopping (Where do you get your gear Online? do they ship to all countries in Europe) -Your Local Hobby Store (Maybe you have a local store that others dont know about)Anything about flying in Europe..!!! Additionally, Alot of the planes and distributors in the States ca be found here but under different names and companies.. This is something that has waekened a few threads only because many planes and helis here are not the same name, so most dont know what craft you are asking about.. |

Hello Stinkweed, Great idea for a thread!
Here's some links to clubs in Europe, I don't know if every link works but a few I tried, did. These are from the "New Builders Links" Sticky on the Builders Techniques Forum. http://www.ivyandmartin.demon.co.uk/page2.htm http://www.towerhobbies.com/rcwairclubint.html Let's get together! Ron |

Ron,
Mike and Admin agreed to make, in addition to the Austrailia region category, a Europe category.. Im excited about it because Here we can post things specific to the European contributor. There are tons of great threads with tons of great advice, but it sometimes leaves us, on the other side of the atlantic, with alot of hunting for alot of things which are not as easy to get, or just plain different here. Thanks for the links!!! |

Welcome to WattFlyer Bob,
You will find that many of the EU contributors are very close to London.. Finding stuff over here can be a real trick, especially actual models.. many models are distributed through many companies.. so looking at the pictures helps alot when joining the conversation with the U.S. users.. My most favorite plane is generic to Conrad called the Junior Pro, but I have found its U.S. counterpart, the Wing Dragon or Beginair, to be the exact same plane.. Be sure to put up EU issues, shopping and events here in this category so that other "locals" can get in on it.. It all looks a bit empty right now, but thats because the Europe category is only 6 days old!! Again, welcome!! |

if it looks like it works and feels like it works then it works
Remember having extra power is kind of like having extra whisky. You may not use it today, but its nice to have it around for the day that you do!

A pet is for life but a RC plane is for the time it takes to buy it, fly it, crash it and trash it.

I was fllying down the fields last week and somebody approached me mentioning the website......I thought it was a wind up at first ! Does look good for Li Po's though, I will order a 3S 2200mah when they have them back in stock, I will put a report on it's quality on here.

You quite often have to wait a few weeks for the stock to arrive (although you can't order when there is nil stock ) and when the batteries do come in they ar snapped up really quickly. My advice Baz is to grab them while you can, you won't be dissapointed ! I have also bought a couple of their cheapo ESC's (40A @ around £8 !) and they are working fine, I haven't tried their servos or Rx's yet, they sell out quickly though so are popular. The forum is monitored by the mods quite regularily and you usually get a speedy reply, but it isn't as busy and lively as W/F ! |

I will try them too especially the one pound something servos. can't believe the price on those. I'm sure I was paying £7 something for 148 servos back in 1988. How much would that be today? Baz
