It appears that the person or persons who stole Jeff's information awhile back to use in their own ads/auctions on eBay are at it again.
http://stores.ebay.com/AplusStore_Ou...QQftidZ2QQtZkm eBay was notified a couple of days ago but as of a few minutes ago when I started this they haven't done anything to remove the offending auctions/ads yet. Just wanted everyone to beware & watch out for & not order from this person as it's Not Jeff's store www.headsuprc.com I really wanted to say what I really feel about this lazy thieving _ _ _ _-_ _ _ _ but I enjoy my time here so I'll hold my tongue, besides there are young people & ladies present that hang out around here as much as I do so... Oh, I almost forgot that I'm not supposed to bash anyone either but don't ya'll think a rip-off deserves it?Standing By, A SJ

I'm not too concerned about it Solwjohn. I think eBay will take care of the problem sometime today. It is a bit amazing that the seller would try it again, though!

From the ebay page that slowjohn referenced -

Ebay removed the copycat listings that I reported. Unfortunately, two more listings were posted while waiting for eBay to take action. Ebay did not remove the new listings, and today the seller posted another listing - exactly the same as the ones eBay removed. So, I reported the new copycat listings to eBay today...
I'm hoping that eBay will get serious with this seller and stop this nonsense. Concerning the refernce to Wattflyers, I was asked to post that information in my Tower Pro motor listings by several Wattflyer members, and was happy to do it. I'm quite certain that he was not asked to do so. He certainly knows the 'cut and paste' command, doesn't he?! |

Saying he knows the cut and past command is an understatement. By the way Jeff, do you really need ebay? I would think your business is well established and the costs of sales commissions would easily cover the cost of your own website and leave more money in your pocket. |

Ebay has worked out very well for me, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to build my business on their site. I've considered opening a 'regular' online store several times, but I've always been too busy to get serious about it. I recently hired a person to do the shipping for me, so that has freed me to get a lot of little things done that I've been putting off way too long. Perhaps in a few weeks I'll be wondering what to do with my time....then I'll take a serious look at putting together an online store

Understood. I even thanked you to make up for all the times I did not post the positive feedback. By the way, with your new person the order-to-delivery times have increased. You worked 24-7, 365. She obviously does not. It is not objectionable, but you'd send an invoice late into the night, she can't until she comes in the next day. |

Actually, we are shipping orders in about the same time frame. We usually ship all orders that come in by noon central time on that same day. Orders that come in during the afternoon and evening are shipped the next day - except Sundays, of course. If you're experiencing something else, please let me know! Perhaps the difference that you mention has to do with the email shipping notificatons. We now send those out mid to late afternoon.
I'm pretty determined to offer the fastest and lowest cost shipping in the hobby business. As a customer, it always irritated me to pay $8.00 to have a few small items shipped to me from the big online hobby stores. And ordering from overseas was always a guessing/waiting game. It still is for the most part, from what I read on the forums, though some people seem to have decent results... |

It wasn't meant to be critical. I usually order in the late evening. Before your new person you'd often process the order and invoice after watching to make sure I was finished. I could pay that night. Next day it would ship. What happens now is the order is placed in the late evening. Next day your new person invoices me but I am NOT home to pay. I get home from work I pay the invoice which is about 20 sometimes 24 hours after I ordered. My payment won't be seen, picked and packed until the next day. That's all that I am trying to say is because of how I order it takes sometimes a couple of more days to get an order. I find your shipping policies to be an oasis in the world of on-line ordering. In the world of ebay, $2 shipping is unheard of since too many sellers try to make their profits in the shipping charges. It cracks me up when a $15 Esky FMS simulator has a $14 shipping charge. We all know what's going on. Keep it up. You are truly an A++++++++++++++ seller on ebay. |

My third order placed 5/4/08 and received it 5/7/08. Properly packed and arrived in great order. Jeff does a terrific job, even with small orders like mine. Highly reccommend Heads up RC to anyone. Great product and greater service. Bill

Jeff, with as many people there are converting their traditionally "glow sized planes" to electric, do you have any plans to carry larger motors?
