Question AMA Buddy Box...

Has anyone received the buddy box from the AMA? I joined two months ago and still await mine.

Just wondering how long it took...

thanks

The AMA had a deal goig on where you join and then pay $7.95 for shipping and they send you a buddy box. Guess it takes a while to get....

Brian,

I ordered mine on the last day they were being offered, and they said it would take 14-16 WEEKS to get mine. So.....give it 4 months, and then start wondering....LOL

Yep I know how to fly but a buddy box would always come in handy. Especially teaching family members how to fly. My Dad already busted up my Super Cub haha

Sorry can't help you there. But I can teach you how to do barrel rolls, aileron rolls, snap rolls, loops, split S's, immelans, cuban eights (right side and upside), hammerheads, but it will be in a full scale airplane. We won't need a buddy box for that.

Um, I am scared of heights. What kinda plane you fly ? I Don't think I ever seen a real plane do a snap roll, I bet that shacks you up really good.

Years back, I was flying in the Illinois State Police Helicopter (AIR-1), and the mission we had been assigned was cancelled, so the trooper riding left seat looked to the pilot, and told him to have a little fun on our way back to the headquarters. I was in the back seat, on the right, looking straight out the side window, AT THE GROUND!!! How cool. The pilot did a 90 degree bank into a right turn. What a rush.

The Master Sergeant sitting next to me said after we got on terra firma "I didn't like that AT ALL." What a wuss. LOL

I have the 140 in my avatar but it isn't aerobatic. But it will do great spins, wingovers, side slips and mellow barrel rolls.

I have a bunch of time in Decathalons and Citabrias. When I want to really get the blood flowing I rent a Super D at the flight school I use to work at. It will do pretty much anything, the snaps are kinda slughish but thats what you get with a high wing plane.

My friend has a Pitt Special (S-2B) Now that thing makes me sick.
