For those who may have kids, Postlethwait is great because there is an elemantary school on the same grounds with a large playground. I believe that we will be meeting at Postlethwait more often during the summer due to kids. Schutte Park has recently added a nice playground where we fly. There are bathrooms at both locations during the "sports seasons" thanks to Porta Johns. There is a water fountain at Postlethwait, but nothing at Schutte. We are informal and meet up to fly and have fun. Everyone is welcome. We stick to electric planes at Schutte due to city ordinances. As of 4/13/08 Newjak, Autorail, and myself are regulars on Thursdays. There are also a few more who pop in to fly from time to time. Postlethwait meets usually tend to draw more flyers on the weekends. Feel free to stop out anytime to fly or just shoot the breeze. 72 Mhz channels used: Newjak: 54 |

Here's a few pic's from yesterdays (4/24/08) meet. It was a beautiful day outside, and everyone took their planes home in 1 piece. Thank God spring is here!

All was good out there except for one thing. The grass was a little too tall. Both planes had alot of difficulty getting in the air from the grass. I used the parking lot for the ultra stick

My 3dhobbyshop 47" katana is in the repair shop, needs new landing gear as the carbon legs went kaboom lol.... lucky the previous owner gave me a aluminum set, just have to drill..... had a blast on my last flight though, amazing that the HS-65 karbos servos can handle my full throttle tumbles i'm practicing

Good, I really want to see that thing fly! I want to get my f-22 back in the air for some testing of the new power setup.

Just won a HET fan and motor, 52 amps max 700-800 watts, trying to figure out what plane i wanna put this beast in.
