I want one! Think everybody here on the site can pitch in the raise the $100,000 for me to get one on my birthday? Maybe we can get a media discount if I promised to write-up a review here on WF.

Hey Marc,

See if you can get one for review. Remember I am the glider review guy.

Hmmm all they would need is to have the whole plane covered in photovoltaic tape cells and it would be able to stay in the air for a long time.

Do life with optimism

Wink

http://www.electraflyer.com/

Is the 'cheapest' 12" = 1ft electric model so far.

But check out the 2 hour capable LiPo and the optional CF prop before you get too excited

And if you're having a hard time sleeping, read this lot:

http://www.usppa.org/Resources/FARs/part103_far.htm

and this, if you run out of sheep to count:

http://www.usppa.org/Resources/FARs/...3_preamble.htm

And you thought joining the AMA took far more resolve than just sending an IM

My wife once wondered why I didn't move up front and learn to fly 'properly', after spending 17 years in the back of RAF anti-sub aircraft - for one, its an allergy to paperwork !

But if you have a licence and suchlike, and prefer something that looks like an aircraft (even if it is French )

And there's a joint project going on between AstroFlight and someone with a cute lightplane, to fly one in the US. However, I have to go paint some more garage, so I'll let someone else unearth that one.

regards

Dereck
