If you are talking about the Parkzone ones they are the exact same electronics, so I'm not sure who said one has longer range. They have enough range that you could fly it away too far to see, so range is not really an issue. I have the Cessna, and it's faster than it looks. Was going to post a video tonight - will post it in this thread later so you can see how fast and twitchy it is. The major difference is that the Cessna is tricycle gear and the Citabria is tail-dragger.

I've seen them both, and I own the Cessna. It's an awesome winter gym flyer, and mine got a lot of stick time. If you already have a Spektrum radio, you may wish to look into their new line coming out that are Bind-n-Fly. The Vapor is the first such animal; they send you no TX, you bind it to your Spektrum radio. (Or any DSM2 TX, for that matter, so it could be one of the new JRs)

One of the local hobby shop owners brought a vapor to the club meeting last night, and it flies surprisingly well, and crashes well too. It flew in the meeting room which has a normal height ceiling, and I was pretty surprised as it seems to actually have 3D power levels even here in Colorado. The option to bind it to your DX7 is a major selling point, but it is available with a "playstation shaped" controller. Can't comment on how easy it is to fly - he wouldn't let me fly it
![]() I just watched the videos of both planes on the Parkzone site, and there are slight differences between the commercial and the real product. I have no idea how they got it to loop twice in a row... mine doesn't have that kind of power. |

Here's the video - it's amazing how Youtube can wreck the quality of a video. Depending on your account settings, there may be a 'high-quality' version available, which is better, but still not very good. I don't know if you can tell anything about it from this video, but the music is good
![]() Always look for the Youtube videos of something before you buy it. That way you can see how it really flies... |

One not mentioned is the Ember. I have an Ember and it flies very nice. I have not flown the Cessna or the Citabria but the Ember could be used as a trainer, it flies so slow. Parts are readily available if you ding it.
My Vapor just arrived today but the elevator seems to have retired and refuses to work. It is a Bind-N-Fly and binds ok, the throttle and rudder work fine, just no elevator. If you have a Vapor BNF, you could actually use a buddy box to learn to fly. I just saw tonight on the RC Micro World Online Magazine that they are soon to offer a Fly Baby and a 4 channel Piper Cherokee in the micro flyers. Looking forward to them. |
