This was inspired by Chara's H-29, thread and plans over at RCG.
I had the idea for this while building my scratch MicroJet, I guess I should've did it then since that one didn't fly.
Everything has been reshaped to make it "more streamlined". This was NOT to fix anything with the original H-29 just to finish the idea I had.
Flys fast, roll rate is incredible, will come to "stop" if too much elevator if fed in quickly. Is has to be stayed on all the time but it sure is fun.
WS is 20", length is ", Powered by a rewound fc28-05, 14t of 24awg, a Graupner 5,5x4,3, Thunderbird18, and DureMax 3s 1000mAH/1300mAH Li-Pos. Same gear as my now dead H-29
I only have my out of focus CVS cam, even my still camera is broke, but I'll take some video soon.
Bad Cell Phone Photos is all I have.
Bamboo in the LE and as a spar. Stronger than I thought it would be.
How the battery and ESC is mounted. There's another hatch at the rear for RX access. Battery is a snug fit.
Ailerons get less throw than the tailerons, I was scared of blocking the tailerons so they only get 6mm at full travel.
Time to get building a prettier replacement.
One thing I didn't put in the plans. The fuselage was designed to have the front taped before gluing to make construction easier. While it doesn't quite look like it there's a flat area.
