Default Which Cessna?

Hi, I want a nice, cheap, easy to fly Cessna but there's quite a few about. Can some one please point me in the right direction!

Here are the candidates -

Merlin Cessna T-206

Skyartech Cessna 182

Art-Tech Cessna 182

Top Gun Park Flite Cessna EP

Any experience & pro's / con's for any of them will be very helpful.

skyartech is the way i went.
brushless version flies great and has a lot of power too so you won't get bored that quickly.
otherwise i think all are more or less the same.

I would go with The 206T. This is the one I had and she was a great flyer, and you really can't beat the price as far as quality and durability. She can handle wind quite well, glides for ever and so easy to fly:

She's very durable friend! The only issue I ever had was with the elevator...I came in too hot when I first got her and the foam around the elevator control horn cracked. But then again, I landed in a bush. She is very durable and an excellent flyer. She can be hand tossed with VERY little effort and ROG just as easy. She doesn't need a long strip to take off either...she can take off within 5ft!! I have NOTHING negative to say about this plane. I actually learned on this one!

Here's a video I made for a fellow Watthead who also bought this plane:

Sorry if it's not the greatest of quality, I need a better camera.

Looks good, think I can eliminate the Skyartech & the Art-Tech as the reviews are quite mixed. The Merlin seems to get a lot of praise everywhere & the Top Gun doesn't have any reviews so I'm guessing it's quite new. What do I do!!? I'm gunna go & fly my kite for now!!

the Merlin is the same as Winfly and Famous...they are from the same mold (same exact plane with a different name). The merlin would be your best bet in my opinion friend. You won't be sorry. You're gonna love this plane!

hey man i've got an art tech cessna 182, its awesome, it handles nice (ailerons are a bit sensitive) but it is very easy to land, and actually hard to crash! but make sure u got a bit of experience, other wise that plane will just turn into a ball of foam. LOL

Well that was £130 down the drain!!! Got the plane last week, the build quality is awful, screws don't screw in properly without turning the plastic beds. Also the wing supports don't seem to fit very well! Took it to the park to test dispite the problems in perfectly calm weather, made sure everything was trimmed centre ready for take off, taxi'd around to make sure nothing fell off, throttled up & it banked to the right as soon as it was airbourne & came down again!! I checked it over and the servo arm had come out of the rudder clevis on impact somehow so I re-attached it, re-trimmed, took off & the same thing happened this time bending the steerable front wheel arm, chipping a bit off the rudder & left corner of the wing.

Will the radio gear & motor go in a Multiplex Minimag so I haven't totally wasted my money?

Sorry to hear that Neil. I didn't have any problems with mine at all. If the there were issues when building, you should have taken or sent it back for another, rather than try to fly a plane that was giving you problems on the bench.

I feel bad recommending a plane that doesn't work out for someone. There are several threads on the success of this bird with almost no complaints. Got any pics of this bird before you scrap her?
