Hi Everyone,
Just a quick note to say gidday! I am a new rc flyer from Adelaide. I am still very much a beginner as I am trying to self teach myself to fly. I have a GWS Slow Stick with a GWS 400 brushed motor+ 1550mah 3S Tanic LiPos. I usually try to fly in the south parklands early in the day (when there is little wind) and at this stage my flying trips tend to be rather short with either the plane needing repairs or I quit before it does need repairs. I am a member of that other forum but thought it would be good to join a new local forum with what seems to be a great bunch of people. So to all of you "Hi and happy flying"

Glad to hear from you, Con. You've picked a good trainer plane, the Slow Stick has plenty of fans here. Pretty soon the sucessful flights will outnumber the mishaps and you'll be looking forward to another model.

Hi Jeff
Have to post my reply to your message here as cannot send pvt msg yet. Yep the SS is pretty zippy but I'll probably change over to a brushless outrunner just as soon as I get a little more experience. Can't see the sense in wrecking a perfectly good motor with all the crashes I'm having at the moment!:o Where are you based Jeff?
