![]() A link to more info: http://www.jumperbattery.com/ I have been hearing more and more about Fly-in's at the Rose Bowl and I can't wait to go check it out. This will be my first time going. I wish I had an indoor plane ready but I doubt that's going to happen this time. How many Wattheads are going and watt time are you going to be there .

I plan on going.
Since I am not known as an early riser, it may be 10am before I get there. |

It is easier for me to get out of the house early so I think I am going to be there when the doors open. Are you bringing anything to fly Jim?

I will probably bring something and see how large the flying area is and decide if I want to risk my planes against others.

James, did you go? I was there but probably after you left. I did see Brandon Chitty fly. He is really good. Of course he is a top indoor flyer, having won several indoor contests. He is also a really nice guy. I did not know he was a school teacher, unless Guy mentioned it earlier.
Not much for sale and no decent bargains. Surferdude was there with some of his own designs for sale. Saw him sell at least one. All in all, it was pretty disappointing. Did not find any really good deals like Kev at his swap meet. |

Yeah I was there for about 45 minutes and thought the same thing...pretty boring. It did motivate me to come home and work on my Slofly 28
. I think if I would have had a plane to fly it wouldn't have been so bad but just sitting there watching was eating at me. And no there wasn't anything there as far as the swap meet went. I think Brett (surfer dude) was the only one that had anything that would interest an E flyer. I didn't understand why there was so much slimer stuff for sale but I guess that's what the majority of guys fly around here .
