Default The Unofficial Central Delaware Parkflyers Association

We meet (weather permitting) every Thursday at about 9am at Schutte Park in Dover, DE. We also get together on various other days when we can. We also meet at Postlethwait Middle School in Rising Sun when school is not in session.

For those who may have kids, Postlethwait is great because there is an elemantary school on the same grounds with a large playground. I believe that we will be meeting at Postlethwait more often during the summer due to kids.

Schutte Park has recently added a nice playground where we fly. There are bathrooms at both locations during the "sports seasons" thanks to Porta Johns. There is a water fountain at Postlethwait, but nothing at Schutte.

We are informal and meet up to fly and have fun. Everyone is welcome. We stick to electric planes at Schutte due to city ordinances.

As of 4/13/08 Newjak, Autorail, and myself are regulars on Thursdays. There are also a few more who pop in to fly from time to time. Postlethwait meets usually tend to draw more flyers on the weekends.

Feel free to stop out anytime to fly or just shoot the breeze.

All was good out there except for one thing. The grass was a little too tall. Both planes had alot of difficulty getting in the air from the grass. I used the parking lot for the ultra stick

I think your "tumbles" is whats causing you to need new landing gear.

Good, I really want to see that thing fly! I want to get my f-22 back in the air for some testing of the new power setup.

True! hey i ran into mothernature the other day and the winds were gusting 20-25 mph and i flew the F-18 despite the outcomes, got some damage from that stunt too.... Just won a HET fan and motor, 52 amps max 700-800 watts, trying to figure out what plane i wanna put this beast in.
