Great minds..... I just got finished doing that.
It acted like it was fine with the 25 amp but I did not run it all the way up or anything. I called around and it looks like that 60 amp EFlight is the best deal I can find. I will have to see what I can do. thank you all for your help.

I just made an order for one of the graysonhobby 50 amp with 3 amp BEC's. Which do you think would be better? I might be able to cancel that order if I get ahold of them pretty quick.

I am running the 6X5.5 that Grayson suggest with that motor.
It is night and day with that 25 amp I just can't use it because it is to low. I am eating dinner right now. How about I call you as soon as I can and I will swing over and test it out with your 60 amp. How late are you up? |

Here's the flight of my Millennium Slow Stick X today at the Unclub. Nothing special - and my rearward facing camera glitched on me. It does that every once in a while but not too often since I installed the latest firmware on it.
So this is forward camera only. A little more wind than I'm used to. I don't have the experience flying in the wind that you pros do.... |

And I noticed on my pre-flight check that that freakin' rudder hinge had come loose again!!! That's the third time for me. First time I epoxied it back in. Then the second time was when Brett was flying/testing it for me.. That time I Gorilla Glued it back in AND put some small wire pins through the fuselage where the rudder hinges glued in. I flew it several times after that no problem. Today the stupid hinge pulled out of the rudder itself! I should have listened to Brett the first time and just put some hinge tape on it. So I epoxied the hinge back into the foam rudder and THEN used some of that Dermablend surgical tape as hinge tape to stick that rudder on. Bet that'll hold that sucker on. I ran it out to Whiteside and it flew just fine. In fact better than it ever had. Hey Brett- maybe SOMEDAY when I get this airplane "stable" you can fly it again and see if it'll do any 3D stuff. It's got plenty of power! |
