Default Alula / Weasel Gliders

I stumbled onto a web site for the Alula gliders and was wondering if anyone had any experience with these small simple gliders.

Thanks

From what i hear/read they are pretty nice specially the Alula DLG glider launches 60-80ft or so give or take, really durable. 2 servos with elevon mixing your set, they are really durable too.

I have one of the original Alulas and it still flies great. Of course it is a bit heavier from repairs but hey I just use it for a little slope action in my grandfathers front yard.
I imagine the newer ones are even better.

Aloha,
Les

I just saw a guy bring his Alula as his F3K warm up plane to a DLG contest here in MN. Said it really helped him warm up his arm and body for the contest without risking his contest plane, and it was easy and small to pack for his road trip to the contest.

Makes me want to get one just as a ride along in my truck for when I see those new as yet undiscovered flying sites where I've always wished I had something along.

The Weasel ROCKS! Love mine...

Here is mine....with some vid and pics:

The Alula is good for really light lift and perhaps a bit easier to fly.

Looks like an awesome inexpensive way to get into DLG. I am going to have to put this on my short list of planes to get.
