http://stores.shop.ebay.com/Compass-Store__W0QQ_armrsZ1 So I watched and bid and I ended up with a bunch of ESC's not one over $10. These were large ones 60 to 100amp. So now I was watching the batteries. I just bought a few 4 cell 4000 packs for under $10 each. They ship within 3 days and it takes the usual time from Hong Kong. If there is a few bids on something, don't up the bid. If you wait you will find it again for less. More than once I've been the only one bidding and won for only a dime bid. Watch the shipping on bids directed for Euros or Austrailian dollars, some times they get you with a higher shipping charge. Different days or times seem to have differing prices too. Good luck Paul |

My problem with these Ebay vendors is that they have all this stuff with brand names I've never had any experience with, or never even heard of or seen before.
I for one prefer to know what I'm getting. |

I've already tried the ESCs, they work. They also are 100Amps for 6 cells, that's better than the Opto 80A I bought from a known vendor. And a lot less than the $175 I paid for my CC 80A one. This place won't be for everyone, the pickings are limited, but if they have what you can use, it's a good deal. |

Prices look good, but the shipping charges seem a bit high.

Gomarket does the same if you hunt throught the pages you can find good deals, another is Artmal on ebay again have to go throught the site and compare the bid price and shipping to just buying it and shipping. A little home work and you can get good price's.

yep, you can find some good deals on ebay if you have the time and patience, I've bought and sold jewery and Scrap gold there, and I've found some crazy deals before...
Best times for me seem to be around tues-wed nights after 12 midnight... (seriousely who in the right mind puts up $300 Scrap gold with an $1 No reserve to end at 1am wed... good for me bid like $75 at last couple minutes... and bang... gold is mine...LOL Then resale back end time friday-saturday.... maybe 930-1030... and make nice profit...lol |

I ordered a few of the 22mm motors (15oo KV and 2200kV) a few weeks ago. The motors looked like the suppo motors that many us companies are selling but they are not even close in quality.
The windings are sloppy and the metallurgy is is soft in comparison to the suppo motors - hard to believe but . . .. The specs were close but the efficiency was way lower and the motors came down hot on 3s 30c packs...propped properly too . .. The escs were set up greater than what is mixed with the suppo motors (10a higher than comparable motor) and rightly so as they were hot too with the appropriate prop and airplane. Not impressed. If you want something for combat or float flying where you dont want to have to worry if it gets smashed or shorted out when it hits the water, then these are ok. . . but dont expect much and go bigger than you would with a similar type of motor. I would never risk a prized plane to these, but for an under $100 ARF....!!!
Check out OKHobby.com for some real bargains, cheap shipping is available as well if you select the right postal service. |

I think you did the right thing. I would put the claim in before the Pay Pal time limit was up. The most I've ever had to wait was 4 weeks.

If a Chinese vender takes more than two weeks I send them a notice, after four weeks I contact ebay for cancelling. It rarely takes more than two weeks to get anything from China anymore. Longer than that means something is drastically wrong. I have only had two items from China take longer than three weeks in the last three years. I only had one package get lost in all that time as well.
