Default Traxxas Bandit VXL Complete Package

It's not a plane or helicopter, so I guess it belongs here:

Up for sale is a Traxxas Bandit with VXL system. This is adult owned and maintained. It has never been abused or ramp jumped. It has spent most of its time on a compacted dirt backyard track.
It was originally a brushed system, and I upgraded the transmission system to metal gears and the motor/esc to the brushless Velineon system. It had the VL-5 system in it, and I changed it out to reduce maintenance time and cost. The car has been run approximately 15 times on the Velineon system and the temperature was closely monitored.

I’m not going to BS anyone and say that it’s like new. It’s not. It has been used, just not abused. There are scratches from use and it’s got its share of rock chips. The paint is scratched here and there and there is dirt in those tight hard to clean areas. The wing has a touch of white glue on the posts to help keep them locked in. Not much, just enough to provide that extra bit of hold to keep the wing secured. The Spur and Pinion were replaced not too long ago and are in great shape. I changed the cover to an RPM to help keep dirt from the gearbox. Huge difference! If you have another Traxxas vehicle… change the cover! The front bumper was changed out to an RPM to protect the front hardware. The front shock springs were changed recently as well and “shock socks” were installed all the way around. I added a piece of folded electrical tape over the ESC Power button to keep dirt out of the button. Dirt can get in the button and jam it. There is a Velcro strap installed in the battery tray to help hold the battery down tight. I used lipo batteries and I wanted that extra bit of tension to keep everything from getting knocked around. All electrical connections are Anderson Power Poles. They are easy to use and can conduct the current efficiently. Because I have been using lipo batteries reciently, the Nimh batteries have not been used in 3 months and will need cycled a couple of times to get them back to full potential. In the pictures, you may notice some lead weights in the front. I installed them there to help keep the nose more firmly planted.

I am including everything that you need to run it except for 8 AA batteries for the transmitter.

You will get:

8 Rear wheels w/ Tires mounted. The tires do have some ware, but are all quite serviceable.

6 Front wheels w/ tires. Again, all have been used but are in good shape

2 Trinity Reference 6 cell 4600mah Nimh packs

2 Tenergy 6 cell 4200mah Nimh packs

1 Tenergy 7 cell 4200mah Nimh Pack

Duratrax Intellipeak Deluxe Pulse Charger. Brand New, never used.

2 Bodies. The Traxxas Body was trimmed so that you could remove the body without removing the wing. This was causing the wing to become loose so I removed the rear portion of the body. The Concepts body has better airflow, so I used it primarily.

Transmitter. I changed the transmitter to a Duratrax to give me more channel options. The stock Traxxas transmitter only had 6 channel options and that was leading to conflict with other drivers. The TX/RX is on channel 72.

Everything in the pictures is what you get. I can take anything other pictures that are requested. I will gladly answer any questions.

Payment and shipping terms:
I am not looking to trade and I will not split up the package. It all goes or nothing. I will only ship to the continental USA, and no PO Boxes. Physical addresses only. Paypal is preferred, but I will accept money orders. Nothing will ship until payment is cleared. No credit cards accepted. Don’t commit to the purchase unless you have the money. Any attempts at scamming me by back charging payment will be met with legal consequences. I’ve already prosecuted 2 others for it. Tracking and signature will be required on receipt. I will likely use USPS for shipping as I’ve had better success with their treatment of packages and UPS likes to just leave packages laying anywhere.

Asking $250 shipped for it all.
