Default AD-1 Skyraider "Sandy"

I have posted and asked, before but recived no response. Hoping someone out there can assist this time. I'm very interested in an AD-1 thru 6 somewhere in the neighboorhood of 39 inch wing or less. Anyone know of where I can find one?
Thanks in advance!

Default "Skyraider" Kit?

To Nonav8er, the Skyraider seems to be hard to find in kit form! There is a LARGE (1/10 scale, wingspan 62-1/2") kit from Anglia Model Centre, .60 glow size, price 195.00 Euros.

If you're willing to build from plans, Aviation News has a 1/72nd scale three-view for about $ 8.50. AP 363 AD-1/6 Douglas Skyraider.

Last, another way to get plans, Guillows makes a small rubber-powered Free Flight version, I believe it's 17" W.S. Most hobby shops should carry it or Tower sells it for $ 7.99. You could then have the kit plans doubled in size at a print shop and build from those.

Good Luck!

Thanks Tim and Sharkster. Like you said, not many of the smaller of the skyraider kits out there. Never built from scratch so I may start with the Guillows and keep a sharp eye on the other forum and the short kit progress. What I have read about the larger version of the sandy is all good. Supposed to have good slow and fast speed handling. This will be my first attempt. I had the e-flite P-47 picked out but the more I thought about it the more I want the A-1. Thanks again. I'll keep you posted as I begin.
