Birdie, I'm 99% sure we WILL BE flying this Saturday, February 5th. I will be leaving Oklahoma Saturday mid morning and should be back in town around 2. I hope 35 south won't be too bad... If it is and and looks like I wont be making it, I'll try and update this thread on the road. I'm pretty sure leaving around 10 will give me plenty of time to make it back here by 5 though.

Well this is the 2nd day that the school has been cancelled... The roads are even worse in Oklahoma, so it looks like I wont be going to Oklahoma this weekend.

The good news is I will more than likely be here to open the gym this Saturday. That is if the roads clear up a bit.

We're still on for tomorrow (Saturday February 5th)! The best cure for cabin fever is to get out of the cabin! So bring your friends! Oh and it was a nice day today so I put on the floats on one of my foamies, enjoy...

Unless the wifey goes into labor (which is a huge possibility) we WILL be flying this Saturday, February 19th. Keep checking this forum for any additional news and if you happen to show up on Saturday and no one is there, then you will know why.

Hey everyone. New to the board and the scene. Was out about a month ago or so with my pops and we had a blast watching the fun. Now we want our own. Budget flyers at first with hopes that one day we can fly the big boy toys. Haha

Well, I got my first bird ordered. Along with all kinds of other helicoptery goodnees. Should be in this week. I also got my AMA membership taken care of, just waiting on that to arrive in the mail. Cant wait till I can get it in the air!!

I ordered the Exceed RC BlueRay 450 Premium Edition RTF...along with some other assorted goodies such as a cheap sim, a tool kit, an extra battery, an aluminum case, a nice battery charger and a training gear. Figured that should do me for a while. I would have opted for the Rex 450 but I was stretching it enough as it was with this purchase...trying to tack on an extra 250 - 300 for a rex and radio was WAY outside my wife's budget...HAHA!!
